The predecessor of Qingdao Hitech Automation Instrument Limited Company was Qingdao state-operated counter factory which was founded in 1966. It was also the first factory that was specialized in manufacturing counters in China. In the 1980s, our company built partnership with Germany Hengstler Company; we also imported parts and components of 404, 422、825、876、250 counters as well as the technology, molds, production equipment, and detecting instruments of 404 and 422 counters. This has a pioneering position in domestic counter industry. Moreover, the 422 and 891 counters ware rated as state-level new product and high-quality products successively. In the 1990s, the factory carried out joint venture with Germany Hengstler Company. They produced 891 counters as well as 710、711、721、722 high-end electronic counters. Attributed to advanced technology and perfect equipment, we become the leading enterprise in the counter industry
In cooperation with Shenyang Institute of Instrumentation Technology, the factory created the national standards of electromagnetic counters JB/T6181-1992 and mechanical counters GBT14482-1993 in 1992 and 1993 respectively.
    In 2004, Hitech carried out enterprise reformation and was renamed Qingdao Hitech Automation Instrument Limited Company. It also moved to No. 190 Zhuzhou Road from No. 11 Siliu South Road. After reformation, Hitech possesses a manufacturing shop of nearly ten thousand square meters. In order to adapt to the increasing economies of scale, the company constantly updating those key machine equipment on the production line. Furthermore, it also plows lots of money into introducing various machining, injection molding and detection equipment. In the designing, developing, producing and marketing process, computer aided design system and ERP system are applied and we also strictly adhere to the ISO9001 quality standard, so that stable and reliable product quality can be ensured.
    We possess a high-quality and experienced research and development group. With modern advanced design system, we have accelerated the development rate of high-tech products. The company has developed long-term cooperation in the aspect of technical information with foreign famous automation technologies in Germany and England as well as relevant research institutions in China. This provides conditions for overcoming technical difficulties. In 2009, our company was honored as the “high and new tech enterprises” of Qingdao.
