Working principle and introduction: It is a kind of counters used in the lightning arrester monitor of electricity sector. While the monitor is struck by lightning, the lightning arrester circuit transiently charge, so this circuit is immediately in a short-circuit condition, another circuit is formed by a charge capacitors as power and a counters as device. When the charged capacitor discharge, the ammeter starts working, when ammeter current reaches a certain value, the counter starts to count. Accordingly, it is used to measure the lightning strike frequency of lightning arrester. The technical and current parameters of this combined Ammeter-Counter can be adjusted according to user needs.
